Mission and Goals

The Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center will be the creative and cultural soul of the alpine village of Stowe Mountain Resort in Stowe Vermont.  An eclectic range of events and exhibitions featuring established and emerging artists will inspire, educate, and entertain residents, guests, and the greater Stowe community.

The Goals of the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center are:

• • To be a viable, sustainable, and integral part of the performing arts community in the Stowe, Vermont area, surrounding communities, state of Vermont and New England; and to represent the Center, Stowe, and Vermont on a national and international level in the arts.
• • To present top quality and diverse performing arts and visual arts events featuring local, regional, national and international artists and performers.
• • To be an proactive and vibrant partner in the area of arts education in the community and surrounding regions and to offer educational opportunities to children, youth, and life long learners.
• • To be fiscally responsible and manage the business of the performing arts center using best model practices and professional high quality standards of the performing arts industry and beyond.
• • To entertain, enlighten, and engage the community and region, guests and visitors to Stowe and the area; and to create opportunities for transformative experiences in the arts as a gathering place for everyone!
