Performance selections include great big band tunes “In The Mood” and “Sing, Sing, Sing”, Mancini’s “Baby Elephant Walk”, a multi-cultural piece entitled “Egyptique”, Coldplay’s “Clocks”, James Taylor “You’re Smiling Face”, “Sweet Caroline”, “By the Waters of Babylon” and many others.

Composer Robert Paterson’s three-year Music Alive residency with the VYOA culminates this spring with the world premiere of “A New Eaarth,” written for the VYO and our choruses. We’re joined by noted environmentalist Bill McKibben, whose writings and ideas inspired the creation of this work and who will serve as narrator at these premiere performances!
