Hope Sullivan comes to us from the Berkshires, where she loves skiing and hiking. For the past 12 years, Hope Sullivan has been the Executive Director of IS183, Art School of the Berkshires. During her tenure the art school restored its’ historic 1870 second-century Victorian facility, more than tripled its reach through the development of new tactics to achieve the mission and doubled the budget by developing new sources of funding including significant support from the State Department of Education and several nationally-based, family foundations.

Hope has an extensive background in fundraising, program development, finance, marketing and advertising at Barrington Stage Company, Goldman Sachs Group, Inc., Sharpe Partners, and Second Stage Theatre. She holds a BS from Ithaca College and a MFA from Columbia University.  She has relocated to Stowe with her 7-year old daughter and their dog.

John’s fascination with sound dates back to his childhood. He worked as a live sound engineer, recording engineer and record producer in Detroit until he sold his studio and moved to Vermont. He worked for the Stowe radio stations WLVB and WVMX, was the sound designer for several shows at the Hyde Park Opera House, and travelled Vermont as a wedding DJ for Peak Entertainment.

Kevin began playing with tape machines when he was four years old. Since then, he’s worked as a live, studio, and mastering engineer, tape duplicator for Sticky Shed Tapes, and currently fronts the rock band The Dead Shakers. He loves the way the theatre sounds and thinks you will too!

Paula has been involved in theatre since she was 15 and performed in a Burlington Community Theatre production. Since then she has been in charge of building and painting sets, designing costumes, and fabricating props, mostly for Burlington’s Lyric Theatre Company. She comes from a family of “techies,” and is excited to be able to bring her love of theatre to this beautiful setting. She says “Hopefully I can play a small part in helping others to love it too.”

Belinda grew up in Vermont involved in theatre especially the technical side of theater. She earned a degree from the University of VT in education with post graduate work in Exercise Physiology. What she loves about lighting is how subtle visual changes can profoundly affect how the viewer responds to and experiences an event and the physical sensation when the lights “feel right.”

Kelly began her career in the arts in Boston, where she studied at Boston College. Following an adventure in the advertising field there, she landed in Stowe where she has been involved in the gallery scene as well as teaching workshops at art centers, universities and private schools in the area. Kelly is a multidisciplinary artist and curator, engaged in creative collaborations and public art initiatives. Studio work includes experimental photography, street photography, film, and mixed media. She is also Creative Director and Curator for Edgewater Gallery in Stowe. She is working with many artists in multiple mediums to build and a dynamic exhibition space here at SPPAC to compliment our programming and performance schedule here on the mountain.

Julianne joins the Spruce Peak Art’s team as the Director of Education & Services.  Julianne brings her passion for theater, arts and education to the position. She will be developing the Education aspects of the arts for all ages and spreading the word about all the exciting events of Spruce Peak Arts. Julianne has her Master’s Degree in social work and has taught courses at University of Vermont as well as Vermont Community College. She previously was the Director of the Promise Community initiate serving young children and families throughout Vermont. Julianne volunteers with Lyric Theatre Company in many roles including Production Supervisor, Assistant Stage Manager, Technical Director and Special affects co-chair. She started at Spruce Peak Arts running the spot at the shows and as the lighting technician!

Meghan is a native of Stowe who grew up in the hospitality business. After attending school and working in San Francisco and Washington, DC she returned to Vermont to raise her family. For many years she was on the Board and a producer for the Stowe Theatre Guild. She’s worked as a freelance graphic designer and marketing consultant prior to joining the staff of the Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center. She resides in Stowe with her husband and two sons.

Patti is a 17 year veteran of Stowe Mountain Resort. She is a Vermonter and has lived in Waterbury for 30 years. She works with us in the box office on show days. She is an avid theater goer and particularly enjoys live music and live theater. Building relationships with our guests is important to Patti and she works to ensure your experience with SPPAC is  a positive one, starting with your ticket purchase and pre-show experience.
