The second annual Scout Film Festival is an international event that celebrates the passions, talents and accomplishments of teen filmmakers through short film.  This unique Vermont event celebrates emerging filmmakers from over 67 countries worldwide with awards in many categories, and offers inspiring breakout sessions with Industry Experts for our young storytellers to explore and expand their craft.

There are various ways to enjoy the Scout Film Festival:

Filmmaker Pass – FREE
Scout provides ONE FREE Filmmaker Pass for each filmmaker listed on an entry. While there is no charge, you still must “purchase” an All Access Pass in order for us to process your Filmmaker Badge. Please contact info@scoutfilmfestival.org to receive your filmmaker promo code. With the Filmmaker Pass, YOU will be recognized by the audience for your contribution and talent while you enjoy everything Scout Film Festival offers over the course of our weekend in Stowe. Just as the All Access Pass, this includes; Opening Night Reception and Entertainment on Friday night, All Film Screenings in various locations throughout the day on Saturday, All Breakout Sessions with Industry Experts throughout the day on Saturday, our exciting Awards Ceremony at Spruce Peak Performing Arts Center on Saturday night including: a Red Carpet (dress it up!); Musical Entertainment by THE SNAZ, Vermont’s own indie rock band from the depths of Brattleboro, VT; Hysterical Mistress of Ceremony, Host Laura Sullivan; Reception directly following, and Sunday Final Networking Gathering.
