Bring your drama out of the house and onto the stage! Discover theater through games, improv, songs, dance, and pieces from a variety of shows like “Matilda”, “Harry Potter and The Cursed Child”, “Annie”, Shakespeare, and poetry of poets like Shel Silverstein and Peter Polansky; and picture books. Each week we will dive into the theater world and explore the interests of the group to create a collaborative show at the end of 8 weeks.

Spruce Peak Arts’ The Curious Place-Winter Workshop for Homeschoolers can easily fold into your Minimum Course of Study (MCOS) needs for arts and English. Spruce Peak Arts will provide documentation of learning, showing exploration in the many aspects of theater acting- monologues, dialogues, auditions, improv, etc. Space is limited, so enroll today!

“Theatres are curious places, magician’s trick-boxes where the golden memories of dramatic triumphs linger like nostalgic ghosts, and where the unexplainable, the fantastic, the tragic, the comic and the absurd are routine occurrences on and off the stage. Murders, mayhem, political intrigue, lucrative business, secret assignations, and of course, dinner.”
