Backstage Pass – Erika Senft Miller

Multidisciplinary artist Erika Senft Miller exhibited at the Spruce Peak Arts Gallery in Exploring Air, Summer 2018, Altered Spaces, Winter 2019 and  Exploring Water, Summer 2019. She has been spending time in her studio painting and drawing, looking back at collaborative performances, and writing pieces on her page on Medium.

Of her work, Senft Miller says, “So much of my practice involves gathering people together: to collaborate, to view, to wonder. But while performances are currently on hold, my practice is alive and continues to evolve in exciting ways. Because the essential components are there in each of us. The ability to change our perspective, shift the lens, shine a light in a new way. To hold the mirror up to the familiar and find a new reflection.”

We invite you to click on the photos and titles, which will take you on a journey through her writing and reveal works from her studio.
