Lisa Hagerty

Lisa is a 35 year veteran of Stowe, 15 as a full-time resident, mom, business owner, community volunteer and elected official.  She is the founder of Well Heeled – one of Stowe’s hallmark specialty shops for women and The Yoga Barn, a unique and much loved barn setting for yoga in Stowe.  Lisa has served on many boards over her 15 years in town including The Stowe Education Fund, The Mount Mansfield Ski Club and The Main Street Alliance and is currently in her eighth year of service as one of three rotating Chairpersons of Stowe’s Selectboard.  She lives with her partner, George Gay and together they have five grown children who were all raised in and enjoy Stowe as their return-to-home vacation spot.  Lisa’s prior professional experiences include several years of Investment Banking in New York, private equity consulting and a stint as VP of Strategy and Sales for a direct sales fashion start-up. She is a graduate of both Harvard College and Harvard Business School.  Her love of the performing arts is rooted in years of championship figure skating and choreography.  She is passionate about continuing to integrate the Performing Arts Center with the dynamic arts community in Stowe and to help make Stowe a cultural center to complement it’s already premier reputation as an outdoor recreation mecca.
