Vermont Youth Dancers brings the classic legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table to the stage, told through dance to current music. Audiences are captivated by a unique blend of exciting hip hop and moving lyrical choreography, along with imaginative staging, costumes and set in this beautiful tale. Arthur is guided by Merlin and is destined to be King, but he is torn between his commitment to his wife and his kingdom, and his promise to the Lady of the Lake and the mystical kingdom of Avalon. As tensions mount and battle looms, will his nephew Mordred truly be next in line for the throne? What of Guinevere and Arthur’s most noble knight and best friend Lancelot , each fiercely trying to do what is right? A tale of chivalry, brotherhood, courage, and those, not unlike us….looking for a perfect society.
